Who We Are
The Hemptender started with a simple goal: to make cannabis products more accessible, more effective, and a whole lot less confusing.
Founded in 2018 by a licensed industrial hemp grower, we’re a family-run dispensary rooted in North Carolina—still independently owned, still doing this for the love of the plant and the people it supports. What began as one small shop has grown into two full-service dispensaries and a nationwide online storefront. And through all that, our values haven’t changed.
We specialize in what we sell. Every product we stock—from our own in-house line to trusted brands like 3CHI, CannaAid, and Cycling Frog—is carefully chosen for quality, consistency, and real-world results. If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, you won’t find it on our shelves.

We source all our hemp locally and proudly partner with Delta-9 Analytical for third-party testing right here in North Carolina, so you always know what’s in your jar, dropper, or gummy.
